I'm excited to let you know that our campaign has released the first TV ad of the election season in the Auditor race.
I have spent my entire adult life working hard and advocating for others as an active member of the community, as a successful business woman, and as a legislator with a reputation as a common sense leader who knows how to get things done for Montana--that's the message I was trying to get across in this ad.
Please tell your friends and neighbors that the choice for Montana's consumer advocate couldn't be clearer. You can also help by taking a moment to write a short letter to the editor. Just click here, or call 406-465-9065 for newspaper contact information. Or contact the campaign to volunteer your time making phone calls, stuffing envelopes or dropping off literature in your community on my behalf.
And finally, tomorrow is a critical fundraising deadline - the end of the last reporting quarter before Election Day.
It costs about $195 per 30 second spot on Northern Broadcasting, $10-20 per spot on the popular radio stations around Montana, $600 per 30 second TV spot on shows like Desperate Housewives or CSI Miami and the local news is $200-$400. Targeted mail is around 40 cents per household and lit drops are about a dime a piece (plus volunteer time.)
Contribute online RIGHT NOW, before tomorrow's deadline, and make a secure donation that will help get our message out.
